Although we have made no set plans for our baby room we just received our first piece of furniture! Stacy and Todd apparently know how to make me cry. Of course I have looked into the future and have seen my little child adoring his/her father and spending quality time learning about his favorite sport. I've seen them going to games and taking a mitt to catch the foul balls. I am realistic to know that my child will want to spend three hours watching television because his/her Daddy is glued to the game on the set. Well, at least now they will have the coolest chair to watch the games in! Ahh, yes, tears came to my eyes when they revealed the chair. Right now it is starting our reading corner and I will need to find a Royals AND a Cardinals pillow because our child will be raised in a split household. Rob wants to go ahead and take it to the living room to sit in it himself!
At the same time, Sarah and Ed brought us back a Baby Bergin baseball to commemorate the year of Baby Bergin. It is an All-Star game ball and although you didn't know it I was pregnant during the All-Star games and of course watching it with my husband! It is pretty cute and will never be taken out to be played with!
