Here we are taking our one month picture in our baseball chair. The outfit and the chair are certainly too big but we can't help ourselves. We can't wait to see him grow into both! Things are wonderful and I am loving every minute with this little guy. He is smiling at mommy now and I can't wait to catch it with the camera for you. He is still being very patient with his parents and we are going to attempt moving into our own room this week. Mommy isn't sure how she feels about this! I thought I would continue with a bullet list of things I have learned in the latest few weeks.
- My dad always tried to get us to shorten our showers to 5 minutes to save money and all of us girls protested saying it was impossible. This is not true. My father was indeed correct. If you want a shower badly enough it is quite possible to shower in 5 minutes.
- Even though you may think you are holding his feet tight enough he can in fact distract you long enough to kick at least one of his feet into his poop.
- Needing to run one quick errand now takes the preparation of a strategic covert operation.
- What once was a 'one bag of trash' family quickly turns into a 'three bags of trash' family.
- Dentists are still making money.
- Closing the doors to the messy bedroom really helps you to forget about needing to clean it.
- The man that comes to pick up our yard of our dog's droppings is my new best friend. Sorry Stace....but for only 8 dollars a week you also can have a new best friend. Just mention my name though b/c it gets me 2 free weeks. :)
As always though there are the most important things.
- When Carter smiles at me nothing else matters than cherishing that moment and how amazing he is.
- Stopping your hectic schedule to spend time with your loved ones is truly the most important thing to do to keep you healthy and happy.
Everyone have a wonderful week and thank you for your continued support!
I am finally just now looking at your blog. Carter is adorable! I know you are loving being a mom!! Here is our blog if you would like to see Noah updates since that's pretty much all I ever write about :)
