7 Months!

Look at me in my big boy chair!

This is my new favorite sound in the whole wide world! Things are constantly busy but with all the hustle and bustle there are a few simple things that I have learned:

• Do not feed a baby peas while he has a cold and cough. When his nose is running so much and you really can't tell what is peas and what is snot it may be best to just stick with the bottle. Plus if he can't breath through his nose and is needing to breath through his mouth the veggies just get in his way and makes him cough more. No matter how well you think you clean you will inevitably find green splatters somewhere a week later.


• When I turn to Rob in the morning and say "Wasn't last night amazing" it takes on a whole new meaning. Meaning we slept through the whole night and didn't hear a peep from Carter. Rob was not happy about this new definition.


• A year ago an awesome night was staying up late with a few adult beverages. An awesome night now is my yogurt parfait in bed for dessert at 10:00.


• I am proud to say that while fixing my make up it did not phase me at all to use a wipe that I previously used to wipe snot off Carter's nose a half hour ago. It was still damp and therefore useful.
