Carter has some news to share! He knew it all along that we have a baby brother! He's so excited!
Visiting the farm. Carter loves to see animals!
Feeding cousin Max. Carter loves his baby cousins and is so excited to help care for a baby.
Everday he takes my phone and takes a picture of something. This is the first picture that actually shows something. Kind of artsy I think! I'm sure in the art world this would be a priceless piece that speaks to people.
Playing on our first baseball field. He ran the bases over and over! He loved it!
Fun at Crown Center in KC
Our favorite lunch of the summer! Carter was the best behaved and played with us and then ate his food quietly all on his own while Daddy and I talked. We sat for over an hour! Rob and I almost didn't want to leave b/c we weren't sure we would be breaking a spell or something! :)
He wants to be just like Daddy and loves to trace our hands.
I love this so much! Carter and Daddy made it together
Carter LOVES swimming now! He has so much fun at the pool. We have a hat just like Papa's
Our first peach! It was totally gone in 2 minutes!
Watching Daddy play softball and cooling off with a popsicle! All fruit and sugar free of course. ;)
Carter hardly sleeps in the car anymore but with this heat and doing things in the morning he is getting drowsy on the way home from our morning activities. On this day we had been swimming at a friends house and he made it all of 4 minutes from leaving her house.
Spaghetti is becoming on of our favorite dinners!
Paying great attention at Vacation Bible School. This was his first year in his class and he has the same wonderful teacher that Mommy had! He loved VBS week! It was very special to Mommy that we had the same teacher!
Learning the rules of baseball with Daddy
First taste of popcorn at the zoo!
We got zoo passes and so we've been lots already and he loves it!
I don't know where this summer has gone but it is almost over! Carter and I have been having so much fun and it will be very difficult to go back to work soon. Every morning he snuggles up and kisses the baby in Mommy's tummy and we have breakfast in bed together. He loves talking about the baby and is constantly loving on his younger cousins and our friends babies. He helps get them things and wants to hold them. Usually he is climbing all over me like a jungle gym but he is really learning to be careful of my tummy and to not hurt Mommy. I think he will love being an older brother. Carter has offered the suggestion that the baby be called Baby Brown Bear so the name is on our list but I don't think will be making it into the top five. :)
