Fall Procrastination

Well, it is December but technically still Fall.  I dedicate this post to my good friend Manden who wouldn't just forget that I had a blog and give up on me ever adding to it.  It is due to her continuous reminders and disapproving frowns that I owe this newest update.  Thank you for your patience and understanding that Carter really did carry off my camera cord somewhere and also really broke my cell phone connector therefore leaving me without any way to get pictures to this blog.  That's right, when some will blame their child for embarrassing gas moments I will blame my child for my technology deficiencies.
At the St. Louis Science Museum!

He wanted to stay here the longest b/c it was trying to catch the balls!
Here are all the grand kids! We had a great family trip to see the Cardinals play!
At the Kansas City Zoo seeing the Polar Bear. Awesome!
Seriously though, he really did do those things.  You can't leave anything out with a toddler!  We are in full toddler mode and I love every minute of it.  It seemed that the first year brought so many physical changes that were exciting but this second year brings so many cognitive changes and I can't get enough of it. I would have to write all night to tell you all the amazing things he does and says now!  He is talking all the time!  He honestly shows us something new every single day. Yes, we've gone through a few phases but they've all been short lived so far and every trying moment is instantly cured with his smile and hugs he gives us.  Carter is obsessed with baseball and football.  From the moment he wakes till the moment he goes to sleep he has a baseball bat or football in hand and is playing it.  Most importantly though if he isn't playing he is reading.  He loves books and will ask to be read to over and over again or will just sit and read on his own!  I could go on and on but I'll just catch you up on the rest of our summer and fall with pictures and video.  Manden, I promise to keep my cords off the couch and will be better for the winter.  Snow days are coming and I will promise to update on snow days!
